Hannah Jensen | Sport

Hannah is in her first year at the University of Waikato, studying a bachelor of management. Raised in Hamilton, she attended Fraser High School where she was Head Girl in her final year. Hannah began playing inline hockey at age 10 and ice hockey at age 16. In 2017 she was named in the New Zealand Ice Fernz (national women’s ice hockey team) where they placed 3rd at the IIHF Women’s Ice Hockey World Champs. It is also the 4th year that she will be a member of the New Zealand Senior Women inline hockey team, who will compete at the World Roller Games in China. Hannah’s career highlights include being named as the captain of the 2016 New Zealand Junior Women’s Inline Hockey team and placing 1st at the 2016 AAU Inline Hockey Junior Olympics. She also enjoys coaching in her spare time, and was the assistant coach of the 2017 New Zealand U14 Junior Women Team. In the future Hannah would like to play a season of inline hockey overseas in France or Spain.
