My passion for Surfing was developed from the moment I caught my first wave about 10 years ago. Since then that passion has driven me to compete at an elite level nationally and internationally. Some of my key achievements in Surfing are:
1st Under 20 Girls NZ National Junior Surfing Series 2015
1st Under 17 Girls NZ National Junior Surfing Series 2016
2nd 16 & Under Girls RipCurl GromSearch National Final 2015
1st 16 & Under Girls RipCurl GromSearch National Final 2016
3rd 16 & Under Girls RipCurl GromSearch International Final 2015 & 2016
On top of this I have had the privilege of representing my country as a member of the New Zealand Junior Surfing Team at the International Surfing Association World Junior Surfing Championships in 2015 and 2016. In 2015 I placed 25th in the Under 16 Girls and 7th in the Under 18 Girls in 2016 at the World Juniors. Also, in 2016 and 2017 I stepped up to representing New Zealand at a senior level as a member of the NZ Open Surfing Team. Being a member of this team is the result I am most proud of as it gave me the opportunity to compete at the ISA World Surfing Games against some of the best female Surfers in the world and all whilst being the only junior Surfer on the NZ Open Surfing Team. At the ISA World Surfing Games I placed 22nd in the womens division in 2016 and in 2017 I improved my result at this event to 9th in the open womens division. Looking to the future, I hope to compete at the olympics, with surfing now being included in Tokyo 2020.
