ABOUT
At Adastra, this whakataukī shapes who we are and what we stand for.
“Whāia te iti Kahurangi, ki te tuohu koe, me he maunga teitei”
Pursue that which is precious, and if you bow, let it be to a lofty mountain.
We back the next generation of stars from the Waikato and Bay of Plenty, young sportspeople and performing artists who are prepared to aim high, work hard and pursue excellence on national and international stages.
We provide scholarships that combine financial support with mentoring and personal development. We support dancers, musicians, singer-songwriters and sportspeople who are serious about their craft and committed to long-term growth.
Talent alone isn’t always enough. Opportunity, confidence and the right support matter too. That’s why we focus on exceptional young people who are dedicated to their goals and may face financial or personal barriers along the way.
At the heart of Adastra is a belief that success is not just about results. It’s about resilience, character, leadership and the ability to rise under pressure, on and off the stage, field or arena.
We are grateful to the supporters and partners who believe in young people and make this work possible.
