Alia Jaques | Sport

I am a very hard working and dedicated athlete and student. I study a conjoint degree of Law and Business Management at the Waikato University. I am doing Honours this year and have just got a summer internship at a law firm in Auckland. This will make it easier to train as the Black Sticks are based in Auckland. I always strive to do my best in every endeavour and I love to see friends and family in my spare time. I work part time at Jump to help with sport costs such as travel and I love to do fitness classes there. I try to Coach as much as possible at camps to help the next generation coming through and I am also mentor for young law students coming through and love to be able to help them just as my mentor was able to help when I was starting out. I love to bake and travel with friends in my spare time and love trying new things. I would consider myself outgoing and love to meet new people. I have great time management skills as I have to balance a lot of different things but it keeps me busy and I love to always be on the move and doing something.
