My name is Angus Riordan and I am a 16 year old XCO mountain bike rider from Mount Maunganui. I have always loved to ride bikes and from a young age got in to the sport of Mountain biking. At the age of 11 I competed in my first race and from there never looked back. I currently race in u19 age group for the second year and have raced dozens of times over the past years. I enjoy to ride and race my bike in new places and love the challenge and competition that comes with xco racing. I always trying to improve my riding by challenging myself and pushing my limits. I am diligent and and determined in my training and racing and always work/train my hardest to get the results I am looking for and to become the best possible rider I can be. I am dedicated to training hard but don’t like to miss out on the fun and love to get out for a bit of fun on the trails with my mates. I am always looking to make the most of every situation and opportunity I am given and try to always keep a positive attitude. I am aiming to make it as far as I can in the sport love every minute I spend riding my bike. Mountain biking has always been my passion I will continue to be in the future as I pursue a career in xco mountain biking.
