Chrissy Hewett | Music / Performing Arts

I find myself a helpful caring, person. I have been involved with the Tech department at my high school for 4 years now. I have helped with the Assemblies every week and also our end of year prizegiving including our Senior Prizegiving/Graduation. My values as a person are to always care for everyone I meet, I am involved in Kiaido Ryu Martial Arts which I help and also learn. Doing this sport has helped me learn leadership skills and communication. I have high values to help my family and friends when needed. I am always there to help people. I have won many service awards through my primary school and high school. In 2021 I became Katikati College’s first AV captain. They made this role for me because of all my effort and time put into helping organise behind the scenes and all the sound for our school. I have been offered a conditional place up in Auckland at SAE for a Bachelor of audio production which only started in 2019. I am truly looking forward to the course.
