I’m a well mannered, passionate ,respectful and resilient young athlete , whom is willing to sacrifice everything to achieve results.From a very young age I’ve been passionate about this sport of Squash and have had a dream to go the World Stage and represent my country.Playing sport has always given me a high level of enjoyment, it has allowed me to travel all over the world , meet new people and interact with different cultures.The highlight of my career this far would definitely be playing in the 2019 US Junior Open.I was exposed to so many top Junior Squash players from all over the world , and this has made me want to work that much harder to get to their level.I learn’t so many new things from this exposure , such as the importance of being organised , nutrition requirements , rest and recovery.
I’m a person who is always looking to give back to the community , I coach our local juniors and have run holiday programs in the past.I’m aware of the financial impact all of my Training and Trips oversea’s has had on my parents and I really appreciate all their sacrifices they have made for me.
I cherish the quote by Tim Notke , Hard work beats Talent , when Talent doesn’t work Hard.I hold a great connection with this quote as I have experienced this throughout my short career.On the days that I struggle to provide my best effort , I think about the purpose of the quote and the goals that I have set and want to achieve , this normally gives me a boast and takes me to the next level.
