At just sixteen years old, I have been selected to represent New Zealand in the under nineteen squad at the Oceania Track Cycling Championship in November. I have just completed my second year of the Waikato Young Achievers course at Waikato University. My future is cycling at the highest level and I am prepared to work hard and plan strategically to get there. I was privileged to be selected to travel with the NZ Development team to Australia to compete in the Goulburn Junior Tour with, finishing 3rd. I plan to compete in the 2022 Olympics and make my country and family proud. I am consistently successful in both road and track cycling. I know that I have the determination, passion and physical ability to achieve at the highest level. As well as an extremely supportive extended family I am lucky to have a strong coaching team behind me. I have learnt to communicate closely and effectively with my coach as well the performance Hub Coaching team and to set goals that take me to the next level. Many people have invested their time and energy in me as a rider and as a person. I am extremely grateful and intend to do them and the contributors to the Adastra Foundation proud as I go on to achieve great cycling success.
