2020I am a 18 year old student and cyclist and I live in the Waikato region.
I am passionate about cycling on both road and track. I make a priority out of not only reaching my training and racing goals but also having fun along the way, being a good role model to my peers and helping newcomers to the sport of cycling.
I am a member of the Te Awamutu Cycling club and hold a current NZ Road cycling race licence. I am a member of the waibop performance hub which provides assistance in my training on the track and in the gym.
I get a lot of satisfaction from volunteering in many areas and giving back to my community.
I have future goals to race at an olympic and commonwealth level for New Zealand
My biggest achievements in cycling so far are winning the junior Canberra tour 2016, setting a New Zealand record for the 2000m individual pursuit with time of 2.30.1, 2017, winning 3 events and placing third at the oceania track cycling championships in 2018, placing second in the team pursuit and 10th in the individual pursuit at the 2018 junior world championships in Aigle Switzerland. And placing 2nd in the team pursuit and 7th in the individual pursuit at the 2019 junior world championships.
