Mckenzie Milne | Sport

My name is Mckenzie Milne, I am a 16 year old student and cyclist and I live in the Waikato region.

I am passionate about cycling on both road and track. I make a priority out of not only reaching my training and racing goals but also having fun along the way, being a good role model to my peers and helping newcomers to the sport of cycling.

I am a member of the Te Awamutu Cycling club and hold a current NZ Road cycling race licence.

I get a lot of satisfaction from volunteering in many areas and giving back to my community.

My upcoming goals are to represent NZ at the Junior World track Champs and long term to be on a NZ Olympic team.

My biggest achievement in cycling at the moment is winning the junior Canberra tour 2016 as part of the Bike New Zealand team which was one of my short term goals and setting a New Zealand record for the 2000m individual pursuit with time of 2.30.1.
