Morgan Haakma | Sport

I am a Wakeboarder on the Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship at the University of Waikato, and am in my last year of my Bachelor of Health, Sport and Human Performance degree. I am currently on a University exchange at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I am also training for wakeboarding and competing. I have been wakeboarding since 2009, and have won numerous New Zealand National Titles and have competed internationally in Australia, Mexico and America, and will be competing in the WWA Wakeboarding World Championships to be held in Toronto, Canada on the 24th-27th of August 2017. I am sponsored by O’Brien Wakeboards NZ, Freestyle Watches NZ, and Aspire Chiropractors in Hamilton, and am incredibly thankful for their continued support. This support, along with encouragement from my parents and coaches helps me continue to push myself and inspires me greatly.
