Hey, it’s Nensi and I’m a cricketer. I moved to New Zealand at the age of 6 from India. My dad was the one who introduced to me the game at a young age. Being the only girl in school that payed cricket I joined the boys club team and played alongside them for a number of year. I even went down to tournaments in Napier with them. Playing agains boys was very beneficial for me because they put up a good challenge and that is what brought out the best in me. I’m the type of person that values honest feedback, because I would rather be told “you need to fix this because its not working,” instead of being sugar coated, because the only way I can improve is if work on things I am not able to do correctly.
