My name is Nicola Hammond and I am a Year 13 student at St Peter’s School, Cambridge. I am a show jumper and have been riding horses for 10 years. I grew up in Singapore & Hong Kong, and moved to New Zealand with my family in 2014 to pursue my love of showjumping. Since being here I have been a part of the St Peter’s Equestrian Academy, and Performance Excellence Programme, and have represented the school at many inter schools competitions and captained several winning teams. I have also successfully competed on the New Zealand Show Jumping Circuit for the past two seasons and was recently selected for the Equestrian Sport New Zealand Talent ID (U25) Squad. I have been competing at National Junior & Young Rider levels, and my goal is to progress to Grand Prix level this season. I am a very driven person who is constantly striving for perfection through hard work & commitment.
