I live by a quote that goes “The man that loves the journey will go further than the man that loves the destination”. I live by this because it is not just something that applies to sports but all my interests. I never start something because I want to be the best in the world before I start. I started because I wanted to do it, I enjoyed the discomfit, the pressure and most of all the success. I wake up early because I want to keep improving and ‘loving the journey, there is nothing like seeing the day come alive as you progress down your path, following your journey thinking about where your destination could be. I have only been racing Mountain bikes for 4 years but I was hooked and have been following the path ever since. I have been down some dead ends but I got to see other paths and understand why I am so truly in love with my journey and have no intentions of stopping.
