I am a 19 year old show jumper that lives in a little area called Lichfield. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science (Tech) at Waikato University and I also balance this with my Show Jumping. Between my sister and I we have a team of 7 show jumping horses which we train and compete. I am currently the New Zealand 2017 Young Rider of the Year which is a phenomenal achievement as it is the biggest age group class to win in New Zealand. I am very dedicated to Show Jumping and my horses as it takes up a lot of my time but I work hard to achieve great results. I have had very big ups and downs in this sport but I keep my eye on my goals and work on my pathway to achieve them. I am a very kind and fun loving person that has a competitive side which drives my ambitions, but when it doesn’t turn out the way I had planned, I get back up and try again. I think it is very important in my life to balance my sport, academic and hanging out with my friends so that I can get the most out of my life and achieve great things.
