I’m an active person, I love the outdoors, sports, adventures, pushing myself to the limit, and taking a few risks along the way. Things I enjoy doing include sailing, kite surfing, skiing, diving, freediving, and rowing.
In late 2016 I started rowing for my school, St John’s College in Hamilton. Over the last few years, rowing has implemented many values into my life, such as commitment, consistency, dependability, and perseverance to name a few.
Rowing is one of the toughest sports out there, I’d say that it has to be the toughest Olympic sport. It takes a massive toll on your body doing a 2000m race, and for some reason I love it! You need to be physically and mentally tough to stand a chance. I’ve had to work extremely hard to be competitive in this sport, and hard work does pay off.
Through my commitment to rowing, I’ve managed to achieve some satisfying results, racing against much bigger, stronger opponents, and being as fast as they are.
I can’t wait to see where rowing takes me in the future, watch this space.

(A bit more about me)
For the past 2 years my family has been living on a boat, sailing the South Pacific, I have included a link to our YouTube channel which follows the adventure. I have been living half the year in NZ with a friend and his family, and the other half on the boat. It has been an unusual teenage upbringing, full of challenges and risks, but I am very lucky to have experienced some of the things which I have.
