Jordan Ditfort | Sport

My name is Jordan Ditfort and I am a business student at the University of Waikato. I was raised in Christchurch but after the earthquakes moved to Hamilton in 2015. Football has always been a passion of mine since playing in the park as a kid with my Pa. After moving to Hamilton and discovering futsal I have fallen In love with the game and lucky enough to represent New Zealand in my chosen sport. When I’m not studying or playing futsal I like spending time doing activities like skating, surfing and playing pool with my family and friends in both Hamilton and Christchurch. I spend a lot of time coaching all levels of futsal in the Waikato community and really enjoy developing people and seeing them grow as players. I have always enjoyed team sports as they create a platform to use everyones individuals strengths to come together and be successful as a team. I also enjoy the social aspect and the fact that it makes everyone feel included in something. I have a lot of family overseas and have always taken an interest in travel. Through futsal I have had the opportunity to travel to numerous countries including China, Kazakhstan and New Caledonia, meeting players from different countries and experiencing different cultures has been something I have always enjoyed.
