Hi there, I’m Megan. A 17 year old High School student born and raised in Rotorua, New Zealand. I’ve been racing BMX since I was 7 and it was love at first sight. Though I played countless other sports growing up, none seemed to stick like BMX racing. Being an individual sport, BMX feeds my extremely competitive and driven nature in ways that other sports or anything of the likes ever could. While feeding my desire to win, BMX has also provided me with amazing opportunities to socialize, meet new people, and make friends around the world. After watching the Tokyo Olympic Games recently, my fuel and hunger to be able to compete at the highest level is greater than ever. My plans of overseas travel the last couple of years had been squandered by the impacts of Covid-19, however with a vaccine in place, hopefully, 2022 will be filled with more racing and travel to mark the start of my 2024 Paris Olympic preparation.
