My name is Quinn Richmond Boyle and I come from the sunny Bay of Plenty, specifically Te Puke. I was born and raised in the Bay with my Whanau. I am attending Hamilton Boys High as a hostel boy and I am really enjoying the hostel life as it is helping me to become more responsible and become more self motivated. I think that I have matured and developed leadership skills that I didn’t even know I had. I have become more and more organised when trying to organise my sporting commitments, school life and time with my friends and family. I love sport and have always been involved in the surf club and anything to do with the water. Swimming is my passion and talent, however, I love to do a variety of sports to keep fit and healthy.

I know that having a balance is important. I believe in small steps in my journey to achieve my goals. Each step helps. I respect and value my coaches. I try to work hard in everything that I do to the best of my ability. I might not be the best now, but I will try my best. I am learning to learn from my mistakes. As my mum has always says “Quinn you don’t know if you can achieve that until you try”.

I am a pretty easy going, laid back and polite person on the outside. However, I have quite a stubborn and determined inner drive that I believe will help me achieve both my short term and long term goals. I like to have a good laugh and like to surround myself with motivated, positive people and great mates.
