Reuben Webster | Sport

Since moving to Cambridge in 2017, my development in the sport has been very successful. I found that I developed on and off the bike. Adastra has helped me massively through my sport by giving workshops available to support us on and off the bike. I feel I am a well-rounded individual who has a high amount of commitment and dedication to my sport of cycling. Another value I hold high in regard is respect. Respect towards fellow athletes looking to develop along with me, respect for coaches who go out of their way to help me grow from a junior to an elite. Being selected to represent New Zealand at my second Oceania Champs is an honor and I look to work hard to come home with the results and goals I set. As one of the older riders in this team, I’m looking to develop my leadership skills which the Adastra Foundation look to improve in all recipients. My future goals are to be selected to represent New Zealand at the Junior Track World Championships in 2020. This would be a huge achievement for me and wouldn’t be possible without the support crew in the background, such as my Parents, Coaches and fellow riders who push me to my limits every day.
