Oliver Larcombe | Sport

I am Oliver Larcombe. I am 18 years old and was born and raised in Rotorua, New Zealand. Throughout school I struggled with dyslexia and found that I had a greater enjoyment in sport, in particular swimming, biking and running. I have been swimming my whole life and have always enjoyed being on a bike due to living close to the Whakarewarewa Forest (Redwoods mountain bike park). With my competitive nature I took to running in school athletics and cross country. These passions quickly turned to a love of Triathlon that started when I was 12 years old. Since competing in Triathlon I have won 3 national triathlon champs and podiumed in another. I have qualified for Junior elite worlds in the last 2 years however was unable to race at those Elite world events due to covid restrictions in 2021 and a broken hand in 2022. I am now in the under 23s and wish to earn enough points to compete at under 23 world champs.
